Booking de Windketel
De Windketel can be booked for a weekend, midweek or week. A weekend always starts on the Friday, a midweek always on the Monday and a week on a Monday or Friday.
Check the calendar to see when De Windketel is available. Click on the desired check-in date and see if the desired period is still available. Make a reservation request. You will receive an answer within one day. Note: Did you not receive a response within 24 hours? Check your junk mail.
If you are interested in a longer stay or if you have different wishes: please contact us, we will see what is possible.
After your request, you will receive a confirmation and payment request by email from us.
Payment
Upon our confirmation we ask you to pay 50% of the total amount to confirm the booking. After your first payment, the reservation is final. The remaining 50% must be paid no later than 14 days before the start of the stay.
Check-in and check-out
Check-in: from 4 PM
Check out: no later than 12-Noon
Once full payment is received, you will be sent your access code to open the door (by email or text) one day before arrival.
Cancellation policy
- Cancellations up to two weeks before the rental period will be charged 50% of the deposit amount (25% of the total price).
- For cancellations from two weeks to one week before the rental period, the entire deposit amount (50% of the total amount) will be charged.
- In case of cancellation in the week before the rental period or if the guest does not show up, the entire rental price will be charged.
- We recommend that you arrange for cancellation insurance.
Cancellation by owner
If the owner is forced by any circumstance to cancel a reservation, the owner will notify the guest(s) immediately (well in advance) and will refund the already paid rental price within 5 business days. The owner is under no obligation to offer the guest any compensation.
House rules of de Windketel
- Small children: due to the open staircases, de Windketel is not suitable for children under the age of 10.
- Pets are not allowed.
- Smoking is not permitted.
Number of people
De Windketel is available for a maximum of two people. Staying with more people is not allowed.
Bed sheets and linen
In De Windketel, a double comforter and pillows are available and the bed is made upon arrival. Also (bath) towels and kitchen towels are available for you.
Facilities
The kitchen is fully equipped with cooking facilities and accessories such as an induction hob, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, Nespresso machine and filter coffee machine. Sufficient crockery, pans and cutlery are available.
Meals
Although we call ourselves a hotel, we do not serve meals. The fully equipped kitchen offers all possibilities to take care of your own food & drinks. So we are actually a 'bed-no-breakfast-short-stay-apartment.' But that sounds very complicated, so we call ourselves a hotel.
There are many options for breakfast and dinner in the immediate surroundings of de Windketel. You can also order delivery or take out.
Final cleaning
De Windketel will be cleaned for you. We do ask you to leave De Windketel tidy and "broom clean". Tableware and kitchen utensils in the cupboards or the dishes in the dishwasher.
Damages
We ask no deposit and assume that you will handle De Windketel and its inventory with care. Should there nevertheless be any damage or loss, please report this as soon as possible. In any case before your departure.
Comments/complaints
We do everything we can to make De Windketel a pleasant place for your stay. Nevertheless, if there are things that are not in order or to your liking. please let us know ASAP. We will always try to offer a solution.
